Bird sightings 13/4/16

Hello all,

Pretty quiet in the garden, sadly, but the best was 10 Goldfinch all at once at about 11:10. Great Tits popped in and out throughout the day, as did their cousins, Blue tits. It was good to see Starlings, with 3 toing and froing throughout the day. Blackbirds were also present, along with Woodpigeons. House Sparrow were on the seeds and suet balls for much of the day, but other than these, not many other birds were seen.

Sand Point
Grasshopper warbler still there, but no sign of the Hoopoe or Ring Ouzels.

Worlebury Hill Road
3 Chiffchaff, 8 Blackcap, 4 Swallow, 1 Willow Warbler, 1 Nuthatch, 4 Swallow, 1 Redpoll, and an excellent drumming GSW!

 More tomorrow,
George
